ABOUT BEN
Ben Zimmermann is a German composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He began composing at age 13, later releasing his first full game soundtrack for BlobCat (2017). Since then, he has produced several orchestral albums, including his Donkey Kong Country 2 Symphony (2020), which has become his most acclaimed work for its modern, richly detailed
re-orchestration of the classic score.
In 2023, Ben founded JiggyTones, a live band dedicated to performing video game music, appearing at major gaming events and collaborating with composers such as David Wise and David Arkenstone.
Most recently, he completed the soundtrack for Super Chipflake Ü. A playful and stylistically diverse score blending groove, cute sounds and energetic rock elements.
